Riddle Road

Riddle Road is a lovely video game where players can join a young character in her new life as a desk editor, as they slowly learn details about her past. To advance in the story and complete the different missions necessary to do so, you will have to play rounds of solitaire.

The premise in Riddle Road is as follows: your character Abbie has lost her father and has to start taking charge of her life. This is how she starts her new job in a publishing agency. On arriving, she will discover that her workplace is a real mess, so her first mission is to clean and tidy everything so she can work better. You will need energy, which you can get by playing rounds of solitaire, to carry out the different required tasks.

In this sense, there is nothing about the Riddle Road mechanics that the vast majority of players don't already know: all the cards will be dealt in several piles, and you will have to play and fill the various spaces to rebuild the deck. Just keep in mind one rule when moving the cards: they must go in descending order and alternate colors. Meaning that if you have a black five, you can only place a red four on top. To move the cards, just drag them into place with your finger or tap them once, and they will move to their optimal position.
